Bicycle Accident Caused by Drunk Driver

Jeffrey Althoff was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol was arrested yesterday when he struck and injured a man on a bicycle.  The crash occurred on Balboa Avenue and the bicycle rider was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of head injuries.

Deadly Bicycle Accident in Oceanside

This morning, a 23-year-old man was stuck and killed by a train in Oceanside while riding his bicycle.  The exact details of the bicycle v.s. train crash have not yet been released and Sheriff’s Deputies from the Encinitas police station are still conducting their investigation.
