School Teacher Killed When Struck by Truck

On January 13, 2009, music teacher Donald Truesdail, 34 of San Diego was struck and killed by a truck heading southbound on the 5 freeway just south of Downtown San Diego.

What was originally ruled as a suicide has now been concluded by the Medical Examiner’s Office as an accident. Truesdail was involved in an auto accident prior to being struck by the truck. He the proceeded to walk on foot to get assistance.

San Diego Tractor Trailer Crash Leaves One Seriously Hurt

This moring, a tractor-trailer crashed into a passenger car that was travelling in the wrong direction on the 5 freeway. The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash along with emergency medical crews. All invovled were taken to nearby hospitals with one in critical condition.

It is unclear as to why the car was going in the wrong direction, but reports indicate witnesess saying that the driver was travelling in speeds of up to 90 mph. The tractor-trailer was transporting contaminated dirt. Once the crash occurred, the dirt covered the freeway virtually causing a stand-still.

Fatal Auto Accident in San Diego Leaves One Dead

This morning, a Dunbar armored truck rollover resulted in the death of one of Dunbar’s security guards. The accident occurred on Route 94 near the I-15 connector close to the Mount Hope onramp. The armored truck lost control, crashed into a raised concrere barrier and then went down an embankment. The victim, who’s name has not yet been released, was sitting int he passenger seat. He was ejected on impact and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
