Hunter Hoestenbach is an attorney at Slaughter & Slaughter who focuses his practice on personal injury law; namely, motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and dog bites. Mr. Hoestenbach graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge (B.A. Economics, 2001), and thereafter laid a strong foundation for his future legal career with his research on jury dynamics. His close work with about one hundred focus groups on high-profile toxic tort, intellectual property, and wrongful death cases trained Mr. Hoestenbach to appreciate from a juror’s perspective the effectiveness of attorney arguments, appearance of experts and witnesses, and subtleties of visual aids.

While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 2006), he earned a Best Oralist honor at the PACE National Moot Court Competition, and he earned the CALI Award of Excellence in Food & Drug Administration Law and in Therapeutic Jurisprudence.
